San Diego: 2/24 - Museum Tour

Deer Park Winery & Auto Museum

Join us for a tour of the Deer Park Winery Auto Museum at the end of February. After enjoying the tour of the cars and other vintage pieces, you may sample the available wines. We have done this tour in the past and it was very good. There are several large buildings with some very nice cars.
There is a picnic area, so feel free to bring something to eat. The local deli only has chips and like items. Please check the list of recommended sandwich shops below, or bring your own. (NO ALCOHOL.)

Date: February 24, 2013
Time: 10:00 AM

Check the following link for details.

I'm going to try my hardest to bring the 7 but idk if the plates will be here in time. i suppose i could drive it with WAY expired plates but probably not the best idea.

Oh and btw after looking at the map of the meeting place I will definitely just meet you guys there. i'd have to go WAY south east to go back north east. lol

You just needed to work at it a little bit to find the information; it was all right there.

The museum tour was really great. Focus on American cars. I have a bunch of pics to review and post up on the two sites. Had about 11 people; really good group. Some familiar faces and some new ones.

Was the snow good up on Mammoth? Have not been there for years. Last time I was really up there was with my Rossi 4SK slalom skis and Lange Tii yellow 4-buckle boots. Used to make a number of trips up there each year.

Here are a couple of photos attached. and yes, it was not all cars.
... Gotta love those fins!

Recommend you take a trip up there on your own - picnic, wine tasting, etc.

Later,
John

nah, snow wasn't that great, but it was a weekend on the mountain.

looks like fun, i'll definitely have to get up there at some point. need to get a few things for the car anyway - rear diff bushings are shot.
