So is there anymore interest in a meet for this month?


The dates available are-

Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd

Or

Saturday 29th, Sunday 30th


I'm thinking saturday but most would probably whine that it should be a sunday so let's all chime in and decide on a date.

 

Saturday and sunday...lol. Not the 29th or 30th cuz Thunderdrift is on both days plus the HellaNorcal BBQ is on the 30th so that should be pretty big, rotaries should def represent. So I vote for this Sat or Sun.

 

I could make it out this weekend, but only saturday next weekend-Norcal bbq is on Sunday! Whoop!

You guys ever hit up Lowe's parking lot (greenback/sunrise)? It can get semi-cheesy, but there are usually plenty of cars. I drove by there last night at around 10 and there were at least 50-60 cars out there. All types, only 1 rotary that I saw though (FD). Just an alternative to the same Wingstop location. I may swing by there tonight if I can finish rolling the fenders on the RX-2 in time, I want to test the new tires out anyway.

 

I used to go out there a long time ago before it got too bad.
Way too many law enforcement officers in that area, pull over and ticket anything and everything that's in the area.

Last time I went out there in an '05 Mustang GT they pulled me over and tried to give me a ticket for tinted windows...on a factory tinted car....

Another time the police surrounded us with spotlights and told us over their loudspeakers to leave immediately or we'd be fined...

It wasnt worth the price to me to go out there, but it is a good meet from time to time.

I know how you feel about the meets. Me and a friend decided to stop posting meets on the rx8 club forum because only me and him would show up. If you guys make something I'll try to make it out. I saw this one a little too late.
