Sacramento May 2009 Meet! 2nd BBQ/Potluck

This will be the second BBQ/Potluck hosted by Kait and myself. The last meet had an amazing turnout and we got to meet a lot of cool people! Check out the photo album if you want to see a few shots of some people that made it: http://www.twistedimages.com/bbqmeet/index.htm
Kait and I are hosting yet another meet, this time at Rusch Park. Same rules apply, no stupidity. This is not only a public area, but also a family event and there will be children around.
Time: 11AM

No revving, burnouts, donuts, racing, roasting 1st, dropping 2nd, chirping 3rd, drifting, dragging, or other general nonsense.
Set rules on parking this time around. AKA, you need to be hard parked if you're with the group of cars (for picture taking's sake!) If you don't want your license plate on the internet, remove it or cover it when you get there!
Same general rules apply like before guys. Let's keep this safe, happy and a family event! I (Ka-Kait) will be reserving a spot for us so we WILL have shade this time.

Glad some of you guys made it out last time, it was good to see a different part of the scene! Hope you can make it again, we're hoping for more Datsun support, and maybe some more Mazda love, too! Having a few FC's and an FD was cool, but maybe a few more of you guys would be okay, too.... Any questions, feel free to PM me here or (more preferably!) on Zilvia.

I just tossed a message to Lab17 about getting some vinyl cut up for me, so I'm hoping things go smooth and we can get some Hella NorCal BBQ Crew love at this meet!

Do it! Rep the Mazda's! There's a skate park at Rusch, so I know most of the children will want to play there, or on the SWEET playground!
NOTE: If you're over the age of 16, please do not play on the "sweet playground." It's considered creepy and rude, and you will not be accepted into our super sweet BBQ Crew.
TEASER: I'll share the design for the stickers with you guys. Yes, the "club" is kind of meant as a fun joke more than anything. We're "Hella NorCal" and we're not well known for our car scenes. I figured a play on "clubs," "hella," "NorCal" and "BBQ's" was in order, as well as a very simple picture to represent what we stand for. This is what I came up with. It will be a "cut vinyl" so only the colored portion is the sticker (in this case, white). It will be offered in White, Black, Red and Pink. There will be a limited run this time (unless I get blown up about them!), so make sure you guys give me feedback and get them while they're here! After this run is gone, I'll do a Version 2 style!

everyone is welcome dont think you have to know people to show up just bring something and have fun i showed up not expecting to know anyone and ran into 2 people on the 240 side that would stop by when i was in the ROP automotive class but i met some people so its not that bad showing and not knowing anyone just chill for a bit everyone there was friendly so its not so bad just introduce yourself and what your user name is so people make the connection

just dont forget since i think this is going to be bigger then the last one. if it is like the last one just be there by noon show up within the first half hour if you want shade parking lol
on some real **** im tryna buy this damn FC by later on today or sunday been looking for a while now........... So hope this one is the one for me if not mad disappointment again cant take too many more of those. BUT if i get it ill be out there like the little noobie on a forum i am.
