Yeah, it's got a bolt-on yoshimura pipe. Puts out a little more juice than the slip-on. You should be wearing earplugs when you ride. Do yourself a favor and buy a box now. I'm almost out of plugs.

And the FC project is coming along?

In a word - dino oil is the best for rotaries. You need to still have some friction for rotaries to work well. Syn oil is just too slick for the apex seals and you actually lose power. Besides, it needs to burn clean too.

In a word, do your own damn search and make up your own damn mind about the subject.

How is a < 5hp gain important enough that you want more FRICTION on your seals? Engine longevity is more important to me than a little hp. Besides, there are a ton of guys on here that swear by RP. I sure as hell did when I had a rotary.

Not a problem. If your mind is made up - go with it. I was just helping out a fellow rotary person asking.... dat all.

Whatever, dood. If you're going to post something as definitive as "dino oil is the best for rotaries", there will be someone else posting their own take on the subject. So yeah, I've made up my mind. Others should do the same. They shouldn't do it based on just YOUR post. They should do it based on just MY post!

You sound like a fogey pining for the good ol' days.

I ran into Dino a few weeks ago. Same stuff. Talked about getting a meet together, but no follow through.

Is Dom still around? Haven't seen that guy post in forever.

What was this thread about again?
