Rotary shop in bay area

I don't think it's too far from the bay area.

I'll second rick. He's over in pleasanton, so he's not too far from you. He does charge a little more than other mechanics, but rest assured, he does outstanding work and is always willing to talk to you and explain everything to you if need be. I've been goin to Rick for a while and i've never had a bad experience, and i know others on this forum who are very pleased with Rick too.
Anyways, if you do want more options, post this in the west section and you'll get more responses.

I just bought my 1993 rx7 that has 83K on it. I was wondering first if I should get it rebuilt, and also about how much it is going to cost me. I did a search for this, but got tired of sifting through pages and pages with no answer. Sorry to bother you guys. Another thing, what kind of gas mileage should I expect, because I went 54 miles on a 1/4 of a tank.
i wouldn't bother with a rebuild unless the compression test comes out lower than 85psi on one or both rotors.
i charge $1600 minus any damaged internals for a base rebuild for a 3rd gen but expect to pay around twice that at most of the bay area shops.
