ROTARY FEST June 24th San Fran
Hey Icemark, looking forward to seeing some HID kits you have, i want to do an HID conversion for my foglights. But yeah, would you happen to have some good 194 bulbs by any chance?? I want to change out some of my bulbs to hyper white. Let me know and maybe i'll pick up a HID kit from you. Hopefully i'll have money..
Oh Zach, if no one is doing this, we should have everyone meet at a certain place if everything is coordinated and people will be there by a certain time but i think it would be cool to see all the rotaries from all over to come in at the same time, and we'll have some photographers and stuff waiting at the exit so we can take pictures and so forth. Good idea or no? Let me know and we can try to organize something (if no one is planning to do this).

If you can tell me the style bulb, I can see what kits are available for the fog lights. BTW, also what do the non HID RX-8's use for a low beam bulb???
At this point I do not stock any of the Xenon/Zenon/Halogen blue bulbs.
And as a reminder purchases at any club meet, if paid in cash, I pay the sales tax on, and of course there is no shipping (so the price at the event for the HID kits will be slightly less ($10) than normal webstore prices).

just wondering since this seems like it's gonna be a big event if you guys know if you need a permit or not. i know they dont allow parking in certain parking lots because BARotary has had meets there before. Just giving you guys a heads up in case no one thought of it.
I thought about that too ilike2eatricers but the heads up from clubrsx is that its a public area though government owned. No permits are needed, kind of like a first come basis. I'm about to head over there next week, take some pictures of the area, ask around and so on. But clubrsx held an even holding over a 100 cars there with no problems at all, i talked to the one that led the event and no permits are needed. About the no parking area, i'll find that out for us and give a heads up. thanks for bringing that up though ilike2eatricers.
Icemark, i'll let you know about the style of blubs for the foglights. The auto rx8's use xenon bulbs for the grand touring package and the non grand touring is clear lense halogens.

Those are the 2 for sure things. Talks are going on with Atkins Rotary, who is VERY interested in coming out. Talks are also on with Rotary Extreme and a local Mazda/Mazdaspeed dealer. There will be tons of food and good music. Plus all of the great cars and other attractions that will be lined up closer to the actual date of the event. I really think that 100 rotary powered vehicles is going to be an easy target to hit for this event. Spread the word everybody. NorCal is going to be hosting the second largest rotary meet in the U.S.

There will be costs involved for food, any merchandise/parts you want to buy from shops and vendors that will be there, and optional donations to RX Tuner. But no, I am 96% sure that there won't be any mandatory costs to people who are coming out.

Where: Treasure Island in/near San Francisco
Why: For all of us to get together and also to help raise money for RX Tuner
Ok, the thread is now officially up. Start checking your calenders/asking for time off. Here is what's going on at Rotary fest:
Ryan Scott will be here to hang out/talk to everyone
Wolf USA will have a both/show off area
Those are the 2 for sure things. Talks are going on with Atkins Rotary, who is VERY interested in coming out. Talks are also on with Rotary Extreme and a local Mazda/Mazdaspeed dealer. There will be tons of food and good music. Plus all of the great cars and other attractions that will be lined up closer to the actual date of the event. So let's start hearing what you guys think and just how many of you are planning on showing up?? I'll start an attendance thread about 2 to 3 weeks prior to Rotary fest for the 100% sure people. But for now let's just start with those who are interested.
