Sounds good... what car are you rolling in? I'll be on the lookout for you. I'm going to try and have my EZ up so we can chill Bring a chair.
If I don't break anything, I'll think about it Have fun regardless, C6 is an awesome car to run. And I like your choice of color!

Here's a repost from the time slips and dyno section:
Well, just went to the drags for the 3rd time ever. Not too happy with the results, so many of you guys make me feel so slow! Here's my slips. Best ET is 13.137 sec, best trap 108.97 mph. I am having the hardest time launching my car, either wheel hop or total bog... see my video. I felt like I was going to break something on my 1st pass so I took it easy on the launch on the other two. My 60' are well over 2 secs... I'm not going back until I can get some better tires and more practice launching
1st pass was about 13 psi, I normally run my car at sea level and it seems that when I drove up to the track (~1000 ft elevation) I lost some boost... almost 1 psi. 1st pass was a little more than 13 psi, other two were at 14# boost.
One very important thing to note: I pulled 2 degrees of leading timing in all boost rows above 10 psi and pulled 2 degrees of trailing timing in the upper rpm range (from about 4k on up) in an effort to reduce knocking I was seeing a few months ago on my car... haven't changed it back, although I should have. I know over 2 years ago when I 1st dyno'd my car when I added 2* of timing leading timing I got 10-15 hp out of that change alone!!
Just for reference, I ran 110-112 mph trap with my old timing map and about 108-109 trap with my slightly retarded timing. About the same boost level & mods, and ambient conditions. Probably robbed myself of 20-30 hp I reckon.
Just thought I would share... check out the video. And see my sig for mods.

You have the same problem I did when I had my FD, wheel hop. What RPM are you launching at?
Your FD is capable of running high 12's. Get some some street drag radials and that should help reduce your 60 ft time.
I'm going to have to agree with WackyRicer, try powershifting.
You have until May 1st for the next session. You could only get better with practice . I just picked up a set of NT 555Rs. Hopefully it'll help cure my wheel spin issue.

Last time I went I got there did one run and found out I had a huge boost leak, bad clutch and my timing was messed up. Ran a booty 14.3 at 101. That track is cursed for rotaries in my opinion.
Not to mention that the guy I got the car off of had the motor rebuilt with 2mm seals set in 3mm springs. Not going to mention the shop, but there is a lot more behind that one. My second FD, and already a rebuild.

Infamousboy,
I've been there man. I know exactly what you are going thru. If the next rebuild craps out, look towards and LSx swap Hopefully your guys' cars will be ready.
