rolling chassis?

I was wondering if its possible to get a RHD fc chassis no motor trans etc. i'd just swap all of the parts on my car onto that one minus the dash and few other things that would need to be changed. if anyone can give me some info about this let me know. i have a friend that can weld and i don't really want to chop the car up but i will as a finally effort.

you know RHD is about as ghey as you can get right?

you may as well paint your car mint green, purple or hot pink. it will be rare, unique and people will look at you wierd as you drive down the street just the same as they would if your car was RHD.

Nah go rhd it's pretty cool 2 C something different on the streets that no one ever C's that much. You will have to change the down pipe to make room for the steering column and all the hardware that is in that area.

i wanted to do it because i like the whole idea of it and since the beginning of this build on this car that has been one of the back burner ideas. i'm not doing just to be cool or just because i want to have more JDM than the other guys this is just for me.

well then the headache portion of it is still the same:

1) getting a Jspec roller into the US won't necessarily be all too cheap
2) cutting and welding the firewall and swapping components will take about as long as swapping the engine and making the car driveable

K the easiest way to do it would be to transfer your LHD title to the RHD car, this is best done on Salvage titles what you do is take it to the state ref with all your LHD cars paperwork and tell them you did a RHD conversion to it and you want the VIN number changed. Then guess what its all legal and you never have to worry about it again, ive done this before with a freind on a del sol and a hatchy. The reason why I say salvage title is best is becasue then you have reason to do the conversoin and reintroduce it as a rebiult title RHD. It would help if you have a shop that can write you up a reciept stating work done, that way you have reason to have the different VIN stamped in the engine bay. Good luck
