Thumbs down ROFL just what I need.....

Well I just found out that once again I am up for being laid off from work. I am going to a meeting tomorrow at about 8:45 in the morning to hear this conference call and find out formally. I talked with a few work buddies that have told me they are gonna lay off about 5-6 people. There is no way I am gonna let them eff up SevenStock for me. I dunno I just figured I would post this to get it off my chest to someone.

If you like your job, suck it up and show up late to 7 stock. I have to do the same thing and take a LSAT test tomorrow. I tried telling them I'm jewish so I could take the test Tuesday, but that didn't fly.

Good luck and fire some ammunition back on why you should stay and how you are an asset to the company.

well I went to the meeting today. I don't have to go to work anymore, but still get paid until oct. 4th. Then I can choose to wait till they hire again here in san bernardino or I can go to texas and hold a job.....now I gotta decide. I am probably gonna move to texas to hold a job....cause I don't wanna lose a $40/HR job, nor can I find another right now that pays near that......

Hell, getting laid off was the best thing that happened to me. I've been hanging out at the beach surfing almost every day and messing with my car for the last two months I like to think of it as an extended vacation/sabbatical. Use the time off to do something you've been wanting to do (i.e. travel). Although I actually miss my old job... Sorry to hear of your misfortune, but things will turn around eventually. See you at 7stock

Damn. $83,200 / yr is good money. Move and enjoy the cheaper taxes, less regulation, cheaper fuel, and nice rotary shops in TX. You better have AC for the humidity.

Heh, money tree? Let's just say that my rainy day fund took a hit. Oh, and it feels good to cash unemployment checks
