Returning member finally has money to fix the seven

hello fellow 7 owners! I need some of your inputs. I live in san jose cali and right now my car is being diagnosed at Mr Mazda a local guy that works on rx-7s. I finally saved enough money to rebuild my engine and I want it to sustain around 450-500 whp. I need to know what kind of setup i should go or who i should talk to around here. Its been a while since i been on here and been a while since my car has been running due to low funds. Now I finally found a good job so I can finally put some money into the car. The car is basically stock and with an exhaust and downpipe. Any kind of input will be helpful I'm sure, and if you are in the area and would like to come and give me advice on how i should proceed with this project please send me a message. thank you for reading. =)

If you are aiming for 450-500 rwhp, then you will need to go Single. Twins just aren't going to cut it for that amount of power. I hope you don't plan on DD the FD with that amount of power either. I'm pretty sure you already know most SJPD are dicks.

Mr. Mazda is a pretty good guy. He does deal with rotary's, not sure how good his work is though. Paul from Rotorsport in Santa Clara is very knowledgable! I call him up at times for questions. Great guy. Rick's rotary in pleasanton is #1 in my book.

Where in SJ you located? Hit me up if you need any help.

They're not that expensive to maintain, after the LS1 swap :-D lol

400 rwhp in a rotary powered FD should be fun, keep us updated!

you know to be honest Im really digging the Ls7 engine! But engine and tran are too expensive cause so new. But I'm still waiting on the estimate from the dude to see how much it is before he rebuilds my engine. Does anyone have a rough estimate on it? My engine right now is 98k with everything pretty much stock other than intake/exhaust/downpipe just simple ****. If I wanted 450 whp how much would it cost to rebuild?

Update: Mike is not able to rebuild my engine due to hard finding parts. I'm still looking for a shop that can rebuild my engine, I will leave my number on here for anyone to ask me questions or even give me some answers because I'm very busy and wants to get this project done asap thanks!=)
