Reputible SoCal Rebuild shops..
Well car started smoking at idle last week... sent the 40R to turblown...They called me today and told me thers nothing wrong with it...
WIth that said... I need a rebuild...and prefferably before Seven Stock on Sept 18..
I'm looking for a good shop in Socal I could drop the motor off at and have it turned around within 2-3 weeks.
IF all else fails i'll send it to Mr Fella in AZ.. possibly even drive it out there...
Any reccomendations?

I have a friend that had very fast turnaround time from Lucky 7, so I'd be willing to go there when I need something done.
Also, Louie from Rotary Reliability in Santa Ana has always been cool to me.

Powerhouse (Johnny)
I heard stories of how good a builder Johnny is from my uncle that use to race with him back in the 80s these guys are the only reason I love rotaries. This guy knows his stuff.

Just got my ride back from lucky 7, had a total rebuild and had it built too, past the 600 mile mark today and the engine is running and sounding super. I haven't been to anyone else since I owned my fc, and I'm not looking to. Fris and his guys are honest and great mechanics. Can't wait to get to 2000 miles so I can through it on the dyno
