CA Recomendation on Exhaust Shop in So Cal

Currently on the search for an exhaust shop who exhibits quality work for reasonable pricing. I live in Whittier, CA and would like to find a shop local to 90605. Wanting a shop that can do mandrel pipe bending. I will provide Racing Beat Header, Bonez High Flow Cat w/ welded mid pipe, Magnaflow 'minime' 2.5" in and out muffler. i WILL need fab work to connect the header to the mid pipe/cat, then connecting the muffler to the midpipe, and using an extension tube from the muffler out to the passenger side exit.

please let me know of any recomended exhaust shops, especially if you've had work done. also if anyone could give me a rough estimate on my exhaust setup, please feel free to leave a post. thanks

ps: use my thread as referance for better understanding of exhaust build i'm looking for

I'd recommend Rene from Rene's Motor Sports & Mufflers. http://www.renesracing.com/contact.html I've had plenty of work there, and always gives great prices with great quality work.

Quick sample of his work:

rene does good work. youll probably be out in the afternoon if you go in the morning. coax him with lunch with beer and youll get it sooner! the only reason i got my work done later was cuz i would finish the beer before i got there.

Yeah if you get a good price on mandrel bending spread the word because usually you'll get raped on that....

RMS did the work on my FMIC and the work on my GSL-SE at their old muffler shop. Great prices and great work. I honestly think they deserve to charge more for the quality of work they do. Plus, if you do stop by you can really appreciate the extra effort they put in to acheiving peak performance on all the cars they work on....

in other words, the cars that they work on are BEASTS!!

Morse Muffler in Burbank is also amazing. The head fabricator showed me a book full of custom equal length headers and some really elegant stuff and that sold me on having them do my exhaust.

Lots of race car ish...

THE best place is JP Performance in Santa Ana on 1st near Main. Right next to the McDonalds. http://www.jpheadersexhaust.com/

After a number of years on his own he got the family call and merged with his Fathers shop, Ace Muffler. The JP man is Jose Pulido. I cannot recommend him high enough. Just talk to him about exhaust nuances and you'll see what I mean.
