I can vouch for Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer as well. First genners recommend this if you have an oil control ring leak or dowel pin oil leak. All it is is just pure thick petroleum that thickens the oil and prevents just oil to seep out of cracked gaskets/o-rings. Also premix as I wouldnt rely on the OMP like mentioned above. Some people have this logic of "Why rebuild now when the engine has 20,000 or 50,000 or more miles left and I just have an oil leak. Lucas can help slow or even stop the leak and you can still drive your car for a while longer.

The white smoke was probably from a small leak in one of the water jacket seals. It dripps slowly when the motor sits for a while (like over night) and when you start the car it burns all of it and once it all burns clean smoke goes away.

Soft: 4 inner water jackets 4 outer & front cover gasket and all the O rings (dowel pins & tension bolt o-rings) front and rear main seals
If your going to crack open the motor I suggest you do a full hard seal replace anyway (apex seals 9, side seals 9, corner seals 9, oil control rings 8 & oil control ring gaskets 8 and all the springs for them as well)

the water jacket is inside the motor. you got two layers of water jacket seals along the inside of the housings 4 inner and 4 outer get them from mazdatrix
you don't need much to pull and rebuild an engine. all you need is a cheap engine lift around 60-100$ wrenches 10,12,14,17,19mm 2 1/8in (54mm) socket for the flywheel nut. breaker bar or impact wrench. breaker bar will work fine just have someone hold the motor down and kick the breaker bar. same goes for the front plate nut (19mm)

I havent tried the lucas stuff yet, but Ive tried the motor honey.. Its like the same thing, it makes ur oil more viscous, thicker, so it helps seal whereever it leaks.. I have a leak on my turbo return line or somewhere turbo, and it seems to be helping..I didnt use teh whole bottle, maybe just half.. Im also premixing ,omp blocked.. I think this is good, it helped raise my oil pressure..
