I've owned a Z06 (2002) and an FD, but not at the same time. Both amazing cars in their own way.

Having trouble deciding which I would rather have back. Love the Rx7 body, but love the drive train of the Z06. Guess I'll just have to put them together. :-)

NIce, cars overall. I really think the z06 took on the design of the rx7! Only if the rx7 was still continued....nice pics

I've driven the Z06. When we go out, we usually take his car because parking is so terrible where I live.

His 427 Corvette is actually very easy to drive, although there's definitely a difference in handling between the two. The two cars have just as many similarities as they have differences.

For us Californians, an LS1 is the only way to give an RX-7 lots of power LEGALLY. Swapping out performance parts every two years for smog testing and dreading getting pulled over gets old quick.

18x9.5" and 10", both ET 38. These won't fit a stock body FD without fender rolling. Tires are 255/35 and 285/30 Advan Neova AD08s.

And...
Grabbing some Dim Sum King in Daly City with dvd yesterday:

This is my chick magnet back in the days (circa 1987)! 1982 RX7, Monster St-port, 100 shot NOS, Racing Beat Dellorto 48 side draft. Rare Racing Beat back in days whale tail spoilers, TMC side skirts and front airdam. I really miss this awesome ride! Sold it to my little nephew.

The tail I got from Racing Beat was the original one that they used in SCCA. Its bigger a tail.

Now that's a 1st Gen RX7 with the original bumper for the 70's. Nice ride!
