How much did that tach cost you? 150? with the glaring shift light because you don't know when to shift
I'm pretty sure you could have gotten a new cluster for probably 20-50$ instead of buying that huge tac for 3 times as much. and you still can't tell what speed your going, how much gas you have, your voltage, and what temperature your car is running at.

The air cleaner lower half damn near killed me; it's off a '79, and was rusted all to hell, but I'm planning on restoring my original to factory color, so I needed another one for the shinyshiny. Hours and hours of stripping and sanding.

Things like this usually aren't covered by insurance. Better off just reporting it to the police and pay for the replacement. I know a place in Hayward that'll do it for cheap if you tell the guy you're a student.
