That could be it. I notice a lot of the time when I see something in a picture I never fully appreciate it until I see it in person.

Thanks, but that's just the prototype; the final version (now on the bench) will have a much better finish, and I'll shave the mirror switch just a bit so it fits within the raised rim area of the bracket.

The mount is hand-cast polyurethane, made from a mold I took from the mirror bracket from a '79 LS, loaned to me by a gent in Alaska. Originals are made of pure unobtanium, these days.

Heres a few pics of mine after I recently installed my ViS replica 99 spec rear spoiler, 93 modified tail lights to look like 99 spec, and 99 spec front lip.

Ya I know the rims look like garbage, they look even worse as you get closer! lol I didnt do that, this was the previous owner. I was thinking about powder coating either black or gun metal, but im leaning more toward gun metal, because I think it would have a cleaner stock look, and it has some color to it, what do you guys think?

I think silver would look best, and your FD looks great! Get some ducts for that front lip and it'll be even more complete.

lol, When I put on my R1 lip I didn't even know that the brake ducts existed.
