Phoenix, AZ Tuning for fd

Does anyone know of a good shop that can tune an fd in the Phonenix area using the power FC?

I'm in Gilbert AZ

I was told by a tech at Berge Mazda to try Intense Motorsports (480) 926-8797 ask for Hon. I get put on hold endlessly each time I call for parts. Jon at Dyno-Comp (480) 596-0500 did all of the work on my FD (converted to single) and Richard did the base map tune. I am going back to them after break in(soon) because I trust them and they also know the car inside out since they built it. Richard is the owner and a very nice guy! He is honest and wont try to tune something he can't. Tell them Darva' sent ya over.

After the retune I'm headed out to Vegas May 5th-6th for the Steve Kan tune.

hope this helps,

Darva'

my 2 cents

I cant say im happy with intense. I also heard they were the best in town for rotaries, so I made an appointment to get an evaluation of the car I just bought. They told me it was 95 per hour labor just to look at it and it was a two hour minimum. I agreed figuring that whatever suggestions they had that they would do the work. After an hour of looking at it the guy told me they were booked for awhile and really didnt like working on rotaries anymore and would rather deal with 350z's and such. So I paid 200 to be told that things needed to be done but they couldnt or basically wouldnt do it and they didnt even give a reference. If I had known this I wouldnt have wasted my time and thought it was pretty bad taste. Im still looking for someone else to tune it for me.

agree with genxxxracer

Once again I tried to order a set of coilovers from Intense today. So I call hoping they would have a set in stock and I could go pick them up. Only human contact I got was "can you please hold?" I should have said "No". After about 7min (had day off) of dead silence I gave up.

I can probably get that car tuned up for you, but you would need to bring it to Tucson. You can also contact Glen at AZRR or Richard at Densetsu Motorsports. Richard will be more then willing to get those coilovers for you.

Make sure you tell him I sent you.
