it all depends on what you plan on doing,

touge, fun runs, drift, grip, autox, road racing, etc..

i suggest, to get Tein, or JIC coilovers or Powered by max, theyre all stiff and get your car low,

another would be run wider rims, 16x8 would be perfect,

get your self a good intake setup(maybe cold air intake), headers, and a new exhaust set up.

get some strut bars for the rear and front, Cusco would be really.

Yeah it's not like they hide the section from noobies.

There is a section for every type of motor sport you might want. If not then go ahead and ask.

Anyway

Strut+anti sway (stock ones are good enough)+LSD+coilovers/shocks and springs should be good enough for any car. Power/engine mods shouldn't matter that much for street/canyon racing. I'm sure a lot of experienced miata drivers can out run almost anything in the canyons/mountains.

Full tune up and replace struts and springs. don't need to do anything crazy if you are just learning anyway.

All of the above are great. But a really good alignment shop that is good with custom alignments is a night and day difference for your car on a track.

welcome to the west section . You will get a straight answer after get the **** first . suspension man start there . Then when you get bored cause it's still not fast enough get a header and exhaust. and last SELL the damn thing and buy a turbo cause and thing more is a money pit and a waste of time in cali .
