Dont do it mang. ALl they have over there is farm and lots of farm land. The only thing good about Nipomo is 5 minutes south. The only civilized land.

 

Well we're close to San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. Its a nice area and we're only 1 1/2-2 hours from Santa Barbara. Its alittle bit cheaper to live in that area(central). Half my wifes family lives in Nipomo area and the other half lives in Santa Barbara/Ojai area. Plus I deliver beer here in VT, Pacific Beveage is located in Santa Maria it will be an easy commute.

 

Be sure to deliver some heine to me on your next delivery.

You'll have to tell me where you get smogged in that area. Sweet I will have to be on the look out for ya. I wont have to worry about it til 2008 registrations up on my plates in June, for renewal.

 

I haven't smoged my car, that's why i can't drive it right now. I've been trying to find someone to do it for almost 6months now.

 

ouch, isnt there a fine you can pay till the next smoggin'. Im pretty sure someone was talking about it in here. I believe there is also a program thats in effect to help people that cant afford to fix the car to pass emissions.

Sorry MY JUNK is worth alot more then $1000, why you gotta be like that? I rather apply for the CAP program and get what I need to pass, Im not missing anything major in the emissions. I just have one CARB cat instead of 3. Aripump and everything else is there and working.

 

I hit up hazw8st and he hasn't helped me at all. He kept sending me emails that said for me to send him my contact info. I've done that about 2 times, and still nothing. He does offer a good service, but its never happend for me yet.

 

Dont want to get flamed. But has anyone ever tried Not letting any oil into the engine during the smog test?

If the car isnt burning any oil . you would get better Scores? But only for a short period of time.
