passing smog
well, its time for me to pass my ported 240... and i was thinking of my recent rx7 swap... anyone got a hook up in so. cal near the oc? also any heard of this guy called hazw8st? i heard he does legal smog and carb exemptions for life... heres some links, lets get some opinions on this...

Well we're close to San Luis Obispo and Santa Maria. Its a nice area and we're only 1 1/2-2 hours from Santa Barbara. Its alittle bit cheaper to live in that area(central). Half my wifes family lives in Nipomo area and the other half lives in Santa Barbara/Ojai area. Plus I deliver beer here in VT, Pacific Beveage is located in Santa Maria it will be an easy commute.
Be sure to deliver some heine to me on your next delivery.

ouch, isnt there a fine you can pay till the next smoggin'. Im pretty sure someone was talking about it in here. I believe there is also a program thats in effect to help people that cant afford to fix the car to pass emissions.

I hit up hazw8st and he hasn't helped me at all. He kept sending me emails that said for me to send him my contact info. I've done that about 2 times, and still nothing. He does offer a good service, but its never happend for me yet.
Dont want to get flamed. But has anyone ever tried Not letting any oil into the engine during the smog test?
If the car isnt burning any oil . you would get better Scores? But only for a short period of time.
