Passing Emission and Visual Inspection in Scottsdale AZ

I just moved here and was told by a native that my M2 steel airbox, M2 IC, PFS exhaust and hard pipes will cause the car to fail visual even though it will pass all required (except CA maybe) emission tests.

Is this true and what can I do short of putting back all the stock parts?

I was able to title and register my fd this past October which included visual inspection and emisions test in north Scottsdale. My visible mods at the time included an M2 metal airbox, M2 large ic, red (i know they saw it) Tial blow off valve, M2 downpipe and RB dual tip exhaust and there wasn't a single objection made.

I dont think we have any hard core visual inspections here. If worst comes to worst buy urself a P.O. box up in like kingman or something where they dont do emissions and viola no more passing issues lol.

Thanks all. I went to the North Scottsdale station off Raintree. Those guys were great: they were hard core car guys and swarmed all over the car.

The car passed with flying colors: about 50% of all the applicable limits.

The test was alot harder than the Virginia test (15 mph steady and 25 mph steady). The AZ test required going through all of the gears up to 55. They were blown away with my blowoff valve blowing off every shift.
