oil metering pump

I posted this in the for sell section but. I was hoping one of my norcal friend had one of these.

I have been having odd oil presure the last few days. One minute it wil be fine the next it will be down to 10-15, the next it will come back up to 50-60 ( all on the stock gauge). Normaly it sits at around 50-60. Today my car all the sudden goes it to limp mode about 2 blocks from my house and throws a check engine light. I run the light and it says 27 - oil metering pump. So Im pretty sure I need a new one.

Now these are very expensive.Any one have a used one for a decent price?let me know what you think.
thanks
Casey

some one said i might also need a oil pressure sensor as that actually controls the oil pressure. what do you guys think?

The pressure sendor will not throw a CEL. It's your OMP that will throw the light.

I have a S5 T2 one.. believe it fits both n/a and t2.. 75$ and its yours. Working fine with no issues.. using haltech now so have a block off plate and omp been collecting dust.

Also check your ecu for burnt resitors.. as dead omp like to take out the ecu with it.

Also have a pressure sensor from a S4 t2.. all fc 13b the are the same. $10.

Edit: these are for an FC.. not sure if you need it for an FD as you didn't say.
