Best sevenstock to date!!!! I was like a kid on Christmas grinning ear to ear, especially when the demo cars took to the track. Id like to personally thank Bern and all the organizers of sevenstock, Willow springs staff, Mazda, sevenstock sponsors, and all the vendors. Let's do it again next year!!

 

Dang, I'm definitely going to plan on coming out next year. Atlanta to California would be a fun road trip.

 

I'll get my pix up once I can stop swilling Gatorade. Still recovering fluids.

 

^ puss. It was not that hot. Yesterday and today were very nice days. We got incredibly lucky there wasnt crazy wind or even hotter temps.

 

Go "puss" yourself, sonny. It was plenty hot enough for those not acclimated.

lol, you ran into the white miata with the v8 too. i was like "lolwat" when he pulled away from me on the straights

 

I liked your vid, I was filming from the pits most of the day, this gave me some perspective on how the track really looks like running on it. That area closest to the mountain (corkscrew area) looked steep from where I was at but as I'm watching this it didn't seem all that bad.

 

I know about some hats but these guys were using Rotor hats :lol

 

Thanks. That track was all 3rd-4th-5th gear. Very fast. Very hot out there too. Ran into overheating issues on my 2nd to last session.

Anyone know where the event organizers are posting the transponder times? They mentioned that the times would be posted online.

Anyone have any videos or pics from the caravan?

 

I don't have any pics of the engine, but LS3 stroked...crazy seeing that huge engine stuffed in the miata! I believe he also has a build thread somewhere on this forum. If I remember correctly, he is making 488 to the wheels!

overall a fun day! despite how hot it was, my temps didn't go pass 95c
