and i and i had a question about my overheating problem

i was stuck in traffice for 2 hours traveling from hawthorne to riverside.. it was bumper to bumper traffic, and my car doesnt overheat.. when i start driving over 60mph my car starts to overheat.. so what i do is full blast the heater and then it goes back to normal temp, but as soon as i turn off the heater, it starts heating up... anyone know what the problem may be??

try checking your timing. your cat could also be dying, your radiator full of dirt or has poor airflow, all the dead bodies in your hatch, etc.

are you retarded? after shipping you will pay just as much for a $20 thermostat as mazdatrix. they aren't as cheap as you make them sound. they also probably will hand you one right on the spot instead of driving around for a day or 2 waiting for it to show up. kiss the ***** of the parts guy and he may give you a couple bucks off making it cheaper!
