I couldn't find my purse, and one of my co-workers said "maybe the stripper's assistant took it while we were all watching" then it got me thinking, maybe some black guys stole my purse? but no... it was in the car the whole time. Black guys stealing purses, who would think of such a thing!!

Anybody know of a Toyota related site that's similar to mazdatrix? I've been looking for parts online and usually find generic parts houses that don't have anything that i'm looking for, whereas on mazdatrix I can find bushings, lsd's, sways, etc. I tried the TRD site but it gave me a headache from all the flash bs.

Basically, i'm looking for a toyota related site that sells OEM alongside with aftermarket and is pretty reputable. I'm on the road a lot and it makes it easier for me to order parts and have them be there when i'm home. I can find a lot of parts on E-bay, but I am wary of ordering off of there due to scammers and the possibility of receiving crap.

Nar has FC again!

Just wanted to let you guys know I am an FC-Owner again... this time I'm starting with an 86 Sport. Doesn't run though. My goal is to have it driving by sevenstock this year. Wish me luck!

I plan on using this FC as my company demo car. I'll be taking it to events, meets, shows, whatever to help with advertising. No matter how racey it gets I'll probably DD it anyway cause that's just how I roll...

Hit me up if you have something I might want or need. I'm not keeping anything out of the interior (grey) so that's all up for grabs. I also have some black interior bits out of my 1st GTU (now parts car) lying around...

Hmm I feel like an FC owner again already... my FC doesn't run and its already taken all my money... I'm inquiring about parts I can't afford.... while simultaneously trying to slang parts that aren't worth the cost of shipping... deja-vu?

My website

heh, its not done yet! It will work though. I'm not web-savy enough to make it myself a local web-firm is doing it for me. I'd be happy to tell you guys more about it but I'm hesitant because usually large forums don't want anyone "advertising" without paying a fee for it.

That's what the vendors do to get their names in the banners after all. It doesn't seem to matter what the purpose of my thread is... even if I'm just asking for feedback or input on the concept of the business I've gotten stern warnings on other forums. I have every intention of paying for advertising on RX7club when the business is up-and-running. At this point its just premature.

So if anyone wants to know more just PM me or IM me or whatever I'm happy to answer all your questions just don't tell the admins lol.

Nope sorry... I still have the black S5 dash itself but none of the other parts from it. Unless you want a gauge cluster or shifter surround or glovebox.

Update

So I pulled the engine yesterday. Dunno if anything is usable from it yet but regardless I'm not going build a 6port for this FC. I plan on using FD irons on the ends with a TII iron in the center. (That way I retain the stock FC motor mounts) I also think I'm gonna use carbon apex seals cause I don't want chatter at high rpms.

Thanks guys. So i checked out the car today. Car had some rust spots and damage but wasnt too bad. I made him an offer that i considered fair. What you guys think? Worth the investment?

Edit: Side note, went to a dyno meet today with some fellow mazda guys. There was a guy there with a 85 rx7 n/a and he put down 116hp and 116 tq.

carbon apex seals won't work on a daily driven car or even one that you plan on doing any moderate amount of driving. the original 12A engine used 6mm carbon seals, the engine was lucky to see 30k miles before it needed a rebuild, upside is the rotor housings take little to no wear, downside is low compression, rapid seal wear and if your timing is off and ping even a tiny bit your seals go "poof".

Car looks ok, minus that horrible damage. I'd offer him 300 bucks and I'd probably want a frame shop to look at it before I did anything.

Killer to any rx7 for sale is a blown motor, if it was just that I'd say 1000 would have been reasonable but that damage would put me off.
