norcal: anybody heard of reman13b.com
I've been here for years and I've never heard of him. Since you're in SF, i'd probably just go to Ricks Rotary in Pleasanton. Very reputable shop and has been in business for years.
Listen to Nader. Unless this is Peter Jun I'd be sketchy. Plus his pricing is pretty outrageous. $7800 for straight rebuild using new parts but not gauranteed to pass smog? That's like buying 3 or 4 FC's
no need to promote other business
i have experience and good referees from my customers
sorry, my website looks like garbage, but that will change soon.
where did you hear this? all my engines pass smog, unless the engine is severely modified and port time is far away from stock.
as far as brand new engine goes, if you piece a complete engine together, part by part you will get a number somewhere around $7000-8000. you can ask mazda dealer or talk to other engine builders to confirm this.
