Getting pulled over cause your ride is ugly???
I've come to the conclusion that I've been hassled by the cops more when I had an ugly FC than when it looked good. My last FC was super clean! Wheels, MS lip, wangan wing and I could drive next to a cop and they'd just nod and drive off. The FC slowly starting falling apart...sold the wheels, the wing and the paint started coming off...I got pulled over 4 times in 6 months...WTF!!
Who agrees? A car looks good and they appreciate it...it looks beat up and they want to harass you...even though you might not be breaking the law...

I agree. It is usually because the beat up cars are usually the one's that young kids drive. Cops will label you, on how your car looks. I used to have a red FC and it was pretty beat up. I got pulled over plenty of times. Once i bought an FD, i kept it in great shape, have yet to be pulled over in it. (knocks on wood)

Beat Up Junker = Will pay ticket to keep the car on the road, and to be able to go to work and pay rent.
I don't know if you've been paying attention, but all those people beeing bailed out on Wall St. don't need more $$ since they stole enough while things were going well. Rich people always get richer and poor people barely get bye... and get picked on.... I don't know what to tell you, start playing lotto ? (Allthough that's just a Tax on the poor) You don't see Trump playing the lotto, do you ?

Happens all the time in affluent neighborhoods such as San Marino, Pasadena, Arcadia. The cops know what type of cars residents drive in their neighborhoods....

I keep my car clean.
I don't drive nervous or look nervous around cops. I practically don't even notice them.
I don't drive like an idiot (for the most part).
It's too much hassle for a cop to deal with Florida tags.
If they make me get california plates, i will get the plates gladly and just apply for smog exemption and get away with doing w/e i want anyway.
Even when i had my FC, i never got hassled even with no cats and an open exhaust. A clean looking car shows the person cares more. I always kept the car looking mint.

Only the skyline or any car i buy through Kaizo Industries as a remanufactured unibody.
I am tempted to eventually send an rx7 body through them and do whatever it takes to get it done right (US Spec glass, belts, fender bracing w/e). I hate dealing with smog period.
That and also i never care if a cop wants to pop my hood on any of the cars i have had.

i have noticed this as well..i see alot of beater car's that look like crap get hassled all the time..but then again, i see some nice lux car's getting hassled as well..they got to make that chedder some how..

LOL...my friend had an FC he kept at a buddies lot and some bum started living in it. he didnt have the heart to ask him to leave as it was a parts car and sat for a few years. Everything was cool till this bum was like, "can I have a key to the car so i can lock up when I leave?" I was dying LMAO!!!
