Oh ok so its like a "white elephant"? Cool, these are always fun.

We did this with my friends one year in high school and somebody wrapped up a sandwich.

What: The X-mas meet
Where: Boostedrex and Rotorchicks house in Rocklin
When: Saturday December 10th

This will be an interesting event! How does everyone feel about doing a "Chinese present exchange?" The price limit for all presents is $20 so nothing over that. That was a tradition with the SC RX-7 club and it always worked out great. Plus it was a lot of fun. Let me know what you think about this.

Attendance list:

1. Boostedrex and Rotorchick - Zach and Berry
2. Karack - Ben
3. Funkspectrum - Nader
4. Mhopkins - Matt
5. RX007 - Preston
6. Janus- Steven
7. SmogSUX -Nick
8. elfking - Brian
9. Racerrex90 - Evan
10. Live2drive15- Jake
11. SMIFFY- BRYAN
12.
13.

NO hopkins white elephant means you buy or take out of storage a piece of **** gift. That is not what we're trying to do. So start saving for your 20 dollars now.

Well it still basically sounds like a white elephant to me.

Jake, who are you telling to save up $20!! Better take your own advice there bro.

I'm glad that people are liking the sound of the gift exchange. I always thought it was fun. And I already know what present I'm buying. Of course rotary related stuff is always a plus, but that can be difficult to find for $20 or less.

Uh oh, Jan might be able to show up!!!! It would be good to see you again bro. I figure it's far enough in advance that most people can hopefully manipulate their schedule so that they can make it.

Of course it's cool Jan. As long as they aren't some of the internet thug idiots from running free! Some of those guys were cool, but only very few of them. Is that who you were talking about?

Ben, of course!! Post up pics of the motors!!

Once everyone gets there then we put numbers on the presents. Then people draw numbers from a hat. You go in order one at a time. When your turn comes up you open up your present and you then choose to keep it or you can trade with anyone else who has already gone. They can't say no if you decide to trade. So you pretty much get a chance to just take someone else's present and give them yours. Just remember that the people who go after you can take your present too. It ends up being pretty funny. We used to do that at every SC RX-7 club X-mas meet. I hope that clears up any and all confusion about what that was. Does that sound like a good idea to everyone? And about the Texas Hold'em game at the meet. That is up to everyone's input as well. I'm always willing to play poker as long as there's money involved.
