i hate to say it but i told you so lol....those damn elk grove cops will pull you over for the smallest thing. unfourtunately i had to work, but i saw so many cops drive by today from my work. i was thinking, "hope none of the rx7club guys get pulled over." honestly tho i would have expected someone to get an exhaust ticket, but a license plate ticket...come on!!! that cop must have been bored or something. theyll pull over anything japanese, but no domestics ever get pulled over, its ridiculous. anyway, that sux to hear that some of you guys got pulled over, but i guess it could have been worse right?

 

I know! There were at least 6 cops and an ambulance that went by us right before we got pulled over. I saw the biker and thought he was going to follow them but nope, "Pull over!"

Damn I don't know Elk Grove so I just went the way I came. I guess we should have followed you

My question is; So I got a fix it ticket in Elk Grove. I get it signed off by a cop and have to call the number at the bottom of the ticket in 2 weeks. Since I got pulled over in Elk Grove does that mean I have to drive 45 min to EG to pay the ticket or can I just do it in Vacaville? And do I have to go infront of a judge or do I just go up to someone in a booth and show them the ticket written off and pay them.
ALSO.... once I pay the fine and what not, if I take the front plate off again and get another fix it ticket for some reason *IDK how, i'm not going back to EG without at least zip tying my front plate on* can they take away my license or do I just get another fix it ticket. They are not on my record are they?


And yeah, I had a bad feeling about having a meet in EG, but it could have been a lot worse if he would have written my up for driving a passenger before my license allows me to. I put my license plate on my dash just in case that would work... but it didn't

the cop was a fucken retard. when he was comming back to my car he was all "so what? let me guess you have no fucken paperwork? The cars stollen?" i was all "no.." as i had my paperwork in hand already reached out to give it to him.

stupid no liscense plate.. you know thats not why he pulled us over. They were waiting for us the entire time at the park, and finaly gave up, and then got lucky to see us driving away.

Cooper, did he ask you if there was anything modified under your hood? he asked me, and i was all "nope... all stock"

 

awhile ago we had a street racing death where 2 camaros were racing and one plowed into a civic that was exiting from a residential side street. one of the people in the civic died, maybe two, others were badly injured. then shortly after that we had another street racing death, or at least accident, i dont remember, involving a mustang and something else. so ironically the EGPD decided to crack down on street racing by pulling over imports. after these accidents, the cops are starting to tow anything that has illegal modifications on it....so youre lucky you didnt get pulled over depending on what you have on your car. god i hate elk grove lol

 

You just get another fix it ticket. you could get a billion of the same fix it ticket, and it will never hurt your record.

 

But they were this gay guy in a litlle chevy, a little blue one, he was on the farthest to left lane, he was like Do you kids know street racing is illegal, and some other **** about San jose is hella more strict, Who gives a F!k about San jose, we were in elk grove...but yeah if i see that ***** again ima fukn yell the hell out of him...

Good, because I hate front plates on RX7s. I'm going to zip tie it on, have a cop write it off and take that **** off ASAP. He didn't ask me if I had any mods but cooper said he asked him if he did. Guess he could tell my car was slow as **** and has no mods

they should mail u a form that has some information with payment options. one of them being credit card. i think when you get the ticket signed off that if u have that piece of paper, you write your credit card info down, provide the ticket with the signature on it, and mail it to the court with that form. thats what happened when i got pulled over for loud exhaust and removal of smog equipment. i just mailed the sheet of paper they mailed me, included the ref info saying i passed, and a print out of the carb number for my intake, and mailed it back with my credit card info filled out on that sheet. and i never had to go to court so....
