I know you guys wont be doing anything stupid, but 7s have a tendency to be pretty loud with certain exhaust setups lol, i kno that one from experience. The cops in Elk Grove like to pull people over for having a none stock exhaust systems, thats like their main reason for pulling over a modded car, i guess they think itll curb street racing or something.

I didnt remember anybody being pulled over, or any cops following us. My radar only went off once, and that was when we passed the cop by vallejo.

Man, they really must be crackin' down, I was just pulled over in my FB about an hour ago in Rocklin while pulling up to my uncles freakin' driveway. "Modified exhaust, blah blah.." It's been the same way for 5+ years, now all the sudden it's too loud. Thankfully I was let off with a warning this time. Haven't been so lucky in the RX-2, got 2 tickets in it within the past 3 weeks.. one for loud exhaust and one for speeding.

I'm such a criminal

this is retarded, even for import vintage cars too? i can't remember the last time i saw a stupid loud muscle car or harley pulled over and warned for loud exhaust... most harleys are just plain ******* ANNOYINGLY LOUD! i mean enough to make me look at them with a disgusted look because they are so annoyingly loud and i have a very high tolerance.

Yeah no kidding, I always feel like mentioning Harley's but I think they're exempt for some reason. I was thinking of getting some db tests done on the cars so I could just show them the printout saying they're within limits, but then I'm sure they'd just find something else to write up. Those will be easy to get signed off, I'm more worried about the silly speeding ticket.

I dispise of cops, they must all be on drugs to think they are helping society by pulling over people for loud exhaust.

And modified engine is a bullshit thing too... its illeagal to build a fast car, but leagal to buy a fast car. i think cops should have traffic stops taken away from their job description :smiley_12

The design of the engine allows for the volume. It is BS, but that is why.

Sorry guys... I was on my way out of town and the thermostat housing blew apart. I felt it as steam comming up through the shifter since all the coolant blasted unto the firewall and down over the transmission. I had to have my RX7 towed back home.

*sigh* next time... is there gonna be another meet before sevenstock?

sorry, if i was in my n/a i would have stopped too but i can't risk getting my hood popped on this bastard of a car. and i knew i should have brought a legal car today too...

HAHAH Cooper, s7ideways 7 and I got pulled over. We were literally 30 feet from the freeway on ramp when 'woop woop'. He said he pulled us over for not having front license plates. I have never kissed so much *** in my life, "yes sir, here you go sir, no sir, thank you sir." I had to because he didn't write me up for driving someone under 20 since I only have had my license for less than a year. Mother ****** had the nerve to tell me to wait around because we may need to be, "giving your friend a ride home." *S7deways7* So basically he was telling me to perform an illegal act by driving someone else in a full 2 seater.... ya OK. Luckily we didn't have to. So basically I got a fix it ticket for not having a front plate.

It's cool for not pulling over Karack, It wouldn't be worth it.

It was a cool meet though.

i wondered why you guys went the long way through town, i wanted to get on the sidestreets to avoid as much traffic as possible and as much attention as possible. no wonder they write so many tickets in Elk Grove, they need to pay for all of those ******* cops they have, those ******* came from all over the place...
