yeah. the slow traffic to the right thing really isn't enforced. I'm so sick of people holding up traffic because they HAVE to be in the fast lane. If everyone's passing you on your right, you should move the F over. We have so many laws in place, but they're not enforced. Lawmakers think that new laws would make things better, but what's the point? It's just one more law that people aren't afraid of.

I agree 100%.... even though I am guilty of it at times, I totaly understand why it is to be law.

irony

a guy I knew got a phone call while driving and pulled over to the shoulder to take the call, instead of driving while talking on the phone. A police officer gave him a ticket, stating that the guy couldnt be on the shoulder, even if it was to talk on the phone. Maybe that is why so many people don't pull over to talk on phone...

That would do a hell of alot more good than making cell phone conversations illegal.

Yea, the autoban has less deaths every year than major US freeways, I dont remember any of the numbers...it was on the history channel or something awhile ago

That isn't the reason since your friend's the only person in the entire country that actually got a ticket for pulling over to use the phone. haha.

so true
when i am tired and just dont have the quick response, i just follow semis....

Thumbs down anti- hands free laws

And, I beg to differ. What is more distracting, talking to someone in the car where you feel compeled to give eye contact, or talking to someone in the car via an earpiece? I suggest the former.
I am opposed to hands-free sets because when you see a person holding a cell phone to their ear it's a warning that they aren't paying attention to the road. The problem with cell talkers is that their attention is placed on their phone call; the hands free helps a little but the main problem still exists.

I tend to notice which drivers are on the phone so you know which ones to watch out for--it pays off. I would support a law banning all cell phone calls while driving, but not a hand-free law.
