I'm still waiting on parts, or I'd be there.

I haven't done solo2 in a few years. It would be nice to see the old gang.

I'll bring a few extra chairs, so yup, it's a good idea! Bring drinks too if you wish. I just bring my large nalgene, and when i run out, i just grab bottles out of the public stash.

Wow, this day sucked for me. Well I guess the sucky part started last night, but anyways I just wanna thank Mike for letting me use a few tools, Rob for helping me try to get things working right, and for the advice, u were right. Also wanna give a huge thanks to the event management for to what they did. It will be a few weeks but I will be back asap. I got a bit of footage so ill post a small vid soon, considering all that happened the people at this event made it not so bad, everyone tried to help. Thanks

Sorry to hear. Not sure what happened, but it doesn't sound like it was that bad.
Also it's probbly better that it happened at and autocross and not on a track.

Don't feel bad, Hell I had a trans blow on my frist Pro Solo run right off the line at the Nationals. Then swaped it out in 15min on the grid. Going from a 5sp to a 4sp. Then got DQ'd becuase the car was under weight by 3 lbs. Didn't think about the 4sp was 8lbs. liter.

stuff happens

Freshly rebuilt motor with much cash put into it cracked apex seal, yeah I am glad it didn't happen on the track. I would have been a lot worse had it not been for everyone trying to help out, even complete strangers. It was nice to see such comradity...(not sure if that's a word, but I'm sure it will be one day, like ain't, lol.) In such a competitive sport first hand.

You know pro solo and nationals are two different events. Right. Anyway once we get a compression test done, we will know if he has a cracked seal. Good times yessterday. My son had the fast time in his class ( FJB). See you all out there today.

Yeah thanks, you were in the 240??? Cause i dont remember seeing a white FC.... If so, nice ride. As far as making February, it depends on when it is, when Lucky 7 gets finished with repairing my motor, and on how many miles i gotta put on it before I can just go hard again. If I can I will, as now more than ever I wanna get out there and let her rip!!!! I was able to do a ride along in mikes yellow "cheater" fc (LOL) and i got goosebumps for a bit.

Lol cheater FC. Was it the hot cheetoes one (red and yellow)? That FC I saw was one of the top performers that day along with that sick beemer driver I was wondering what kind of forever it would take to get that good. That car had some intense grip on it and the drive just looked wild (in a good way) from the starting line.

Johnson was cool enough to let me do a ride along too I brought my FC, no 240. My boyfriend's got the pictures on his camera so I'll get to that eventually.

Speedventures was running in the infield with both track and autox and that was nice as well, didn't stay there too long though.

yeah it was the cheetoes one, yeah i busted up too when the guy on the loud mic called him that. It was wild, and it had one hell of a suspension setup, i was amazed while riding in it. I kept thinking, my car can do this too one day. Really I didnt notice a white FC, maybe by that time i was too into troubleshooting mine that i didnt notice. Yeah johnson said i could ride in his, but i had to work the track when he ran, just in case i was able to get mine running right again, i didnt want to hear anyone say no work, no play. But i learned alot in that ride, i have a long way to go, but thats why i wanna get back out there so bad!!!!
