New to AZ...smog question

Hey everyone...just moved to Phoenix from Oklahoma, and had no smog requirements there. I think I might be screwed here...91NA, streetport, straight thru exhaust, all smog crap removed.

Suggestions? Buy cats? Or...?

I sold my 7 before I moved out here, but from what I hear the rx7's have a hell of a time passing without the smog equipment on them. For all it is worth you may want to check out this thread and see what options you have.

Cat,ACV, and airpump.

Get a working cat and airpump. THen mod the ACV so it pumps directly to the cat 24/7. Then make some fake vac lines to it.

You should pass no problem.

I've got a switched electric air pump and Bonez cat. Cover plates on the ACV and EGR. Engine is street ported and I plan to cut some fuel for the test.
I think I should pass based on what I've read here on the forum.
Do they do a visual in AZ? What about using longer bolts and mounting the ACV and EGR over the cover plates? That way I don't have to break a good seal.

well, They aren't very smart or care that much but I put it on just in case. You coudl do the sandwich thing with the acv. Just make it look legit just in case

Do what digi7ech said you should pass fine if your engine is in good condition and overlap wasn't increased a whole bunch...
