Thanks guys for all the helpful advice.. I would like to learn as much about these cars as possible. I have been reading the FAQ's. i'm thinking that I won't buy a RX 7on the east coast, but by one in west coast like SD or LA so I can test drive the car.. As far as learning is anyone putting any clinics on how to work on these cars? Are is anybody willing to teach a rookie like myself? Thanks..

Try to get the history and paperwork of all the work done. When I bought my car I had stacks of all the maintenance... I ain't complaining though. And ask us about the price before you buy

there will always be exceptions to every rule. but really you have to realize when you buy a 20year old car there will be inherit problems....regardless of how well kept up the car was.
