Hey my peoples. sorry if this is a stupid question.
but i plan on doin a LS1 swap into my FD. as of now its just a shell so i need do go trew the entire regristration process. so would i be able to do it with the V8 motor or would i just be better off going stock and then swaping.
And do not hit me with all of that a FD is not a FD with a V8 crap.

register as a non op, then throw in your engine, take to referee, done

 

so when i take it to the referee it will pass all test with the V8.

...it needs to also have full operating emissions of donor car...same year as FD or newer.

 

youll need insurance and a temp tag before you take it to the ref, if you pass change the registration details

 

Can you pass smog with Ls1 ????? even with all the correct emission stuff and good swap
