Any wiring experts out there that wants to help me hook up my stereo head unit in my car?
Located in 91770 for all those close by.
Really frustrated with these wires =(.
And I don't want to risk short circuiting anything being it is my first time dealing with this.

yeah i have that adapter, but my car doesn't have the stock stereo clip anymore.
It's just a bunch of cut wires.
So I have to do it by connecting wire by wire now, but the thing is I don't know how to do that =P.
Rather have an experienced person help me and show me some stuff so in the future I can help other people and continue the cycle of learning ;D
And no finishline, I did not play socom =P. All I play is CS and left 4 dead haha.

Get a copy of the wiring schematic from a FSM (89-91 are essentially the same in this situation), then set it next to the wiring instructions that came with your head unit.
There is a link in a sticky at the top of the main 2nd Gen forum that will take you to an online copy of the FSM. But to save you the trouble, go here:
http://www.teamfc3s.org/main/factory...cal_System.pdf
Go to the 93rd page of this pdf and the color codes for what wire does what is all there. Make sure you're looking at the wire color BEFORE the aftermarket plug wires that was there.

I kinda get the right idea. These schematics are killing me. I kinda understand what wire goes to what while looking at the post icemark has in the 2nd gen section. But what im worried about are the grounds and the relay.
actually its for the pc too.. and I have it for free and cracked
I'll show you how to get it for free if you help me XD

I haven't had anyone to teach me how to wire things and I don't have the materials and books necessary to learn. I'll be glad to learn from ya.

In preparation, go to an electronics supply house (I like MarVac) and buy a good soldering IRON (not gun), solder, flux, and a good length of shrinking tubing about twice as wide as the largest wire you are faced with. Also buy a hand torch (like you'd light a fireplace with).
Do NOT use scotch lock's, cripers, etc. Not near as clean an install and you run the risk of developing a loose connection down the road. Been there, not fun to find. Do it right the first time is always a good idea, shortcuts not.

Alta Loma near rancho right? Yeah it's only a 40 minute drive. I'll PM you.
Oh and Hozz, yeah I'll go get them shrinkers, cause I realized how weak the crimpers got
