my 1988 RX7 has a dead alternator
The new part is too expensive and I can take it out and put it back in myself. Is there a place I can buy a rebuilt one or get mine rebuilt in socal? I have been totally out of the loop recently. I'm trying to fix up my poor battered RX7. I have a side job starting I hope tomorrow.

I've got a used S4 alternator tested fully operational. Still have the spec sheet from the testing.
Came out of my Vert as I recall.
I'll sell it to you for $40 and your old one. Always wanted to pull one of those apart.
I'll be in Los Alamitos tomorrow, so can meet there. PM me your cell and we'll connect. But know I'm in town only this week.

I still don't understand how $100 is just WAY too expensive. Sure noone just has $100 to spare, but **** breaks on cars that costs much more than that. And the Kragen alt has a lifetime warranty.
