Alright so... just like the title of the thread states, I'm moving to Arizona.
I need to know whats going on down there. Where are all the spots near Buckeye/Goodyear...

goodyear is near phoenix so you can find lots to do if you dirve a bit.
The pavilion is a great meet on friday and saturday

cool, im going to try to come down if i have the day off. it cool, you should get there at like 6 or 7 because its packed by 8. You see all sorts of cars, henessy vipers, 1khp supras, FD's, muscle cars, etc... you also got cars and coffees where all the exotics meet up, enzo, porsche GT, merci, etc... check out azeuropeans.com for info.

 

Sounds good.... but in that case, I have alot of work ahead of me if I want to be able to present my car at a place like that. Vipers, Supras, FD's, and Euro's...... I think an a$$ load of work is needed, lol. but fo sho I'll check it out.

It's not as bad as I thought it would be. In terms of the heat..... but gettng all my stuff out here as well as my car wasn't.....

I moved to Scottsdale from Virginia. Lived there for 18 mos. Moved to Nor-Cal, bay area.

Wouldn't move back there again. Why?

1. Valley Fever - google the phrase.
2. heat in the summer.
3. very very dry
4. nothing to do unless you like looking at dirt, cactus and breathing in dust
5. high paying job market sucks unless you're in the real estate foreclosure business.
6. The native indians left that god forsaken place and we think we can do better?

 

AZ is not that bad. The heat is tough on the rotary engines though. You just need to drive smart when it is 110+. As for what there is to do, check out AZMazdaclub.com or RCCAZ.com (rotary car club). Each group has a lot of events each month.
