Staying down in Lancaster is the best bet. It is where I have stayed when going to Willow Springs. If not, then a little further south in Palmdale. Very easy drive to the track. Rosamond is only good if you want to stay on the cheap.

Try Oxford Suites, Park Plaza, Best Western, Desert Inn, or others.

Don't forget, the weekend before you've got the Coronado Speed Fest!
