I don't think there is that much difference between novice and intermediate. My first trip there they bumped me to INT simply because of the FD. If you get bumped up to INT you can try to whip my mazda 3 ****.
Fair enough. I mostly alluded to Evos because I haven't had much of a chance to see how my car compares to some modern hot stuff. Controlled passing is a good thing.

Hey everyone, I met a few of you guys in person and wanted to say how much fun I had racing on Saturday even though I didn't have my Rx-7 that day. There was one of you guys racing with a nice white FC, looked like a turbo model, and you were spitting flames everywhere (I was in the silver Integra behind you during one of our sessions in the afternoon)

I couldn't believe how many wipeouts there were, too bad the blue group got the shaft on track time. Also, I don't know if any of you guys paid attention, but there was a tall thin guy on Saturday in a green shirt driving a miata that was pretty much driving right past the black and silver Porsche 997 911 turbos that kind of stuff makes me laugh.

I met a few of the FD people: Joel, Andy, Ken, Mike, Dave, and Crosby (is that your last name?)... hope to see you guys again, I spend a lot of time in San Diego, Culver City/Los Angeles, and San Bernardino so if you're ever around and want to attend an Rx-7 cruise/meet PM me so we can meet up.

Emilio is definately a good driver, but his car wasn't bone stock. Check the ride height and r-compounds. There's no argument that he was drivng the crap outta that little thing, though.

Very fun (and hot) indeed.
Anyone know the website of the professional photographer that was out there?
I'm trying to find some pictures of my wagon out there on the track.

Those rims looked dope on your ride... RH C2 3-piece, right? What were the sizes? If they make 17x8/17x9, I'm going to start looking for a set.

Heres a video of my 85 gsl-se turbo running around the track. This was my first outing with my 7. Its about 19min long with me spinning out towards the end of the video. Also an RX-8 spins out after I wave him bye.

What kind of speeds was everyone reaching down the main straight?

Yes, my car was the tender blue FB shooting big flames from what I was told. I was getting up to just over 100 mph down the main straight.
