Mazda OEM Oil Filter etc. Discounts?
Where do you all get your OEM Mazda parts.. like Oil Filter.. Fuel Filter.. Etc. I heard some MODs on the forums have set up special dealer discounts regionally.
From what i've seen, ordering from dealers comes out to around $6.50 per Oil Filter My car is in need of a oil change soon. I considered the Mobil 1 and K&N filters but decided to continue using OEM since this is what has been used in the vehicle the past 12 years.
By the way, anyone have problems running it with synthetic oils in your FD? I'm thinking of switching to Redline or Royal Purple at 10/30.. btw I live and drive in Southern Cali. but i've also heard that some filters are better than mazda oem with synthetics, is this true?

I hear that mice can kill elephants. Anyhoo, the only thing I've read is that it cleans the gook in your seals, so you might start leaking if your seals aren't so pristine. Other than that, you're going to have to clarify why it's bad to switch.

no problem switching to synthetic, but switching back is a bad idea
I say if the motor has been using dino juce for a while then stick with that. If your running a rebuild or a fresher motor you can go to synth.
I lost a coolant seal and maybe more within 5K of switching to synth on a 100K motor.
