I think each Mazda dealer would at least hold the car for a week or less, no matter where you go.

Nah. You'll get much better service if you tell Mr. RC that Jon sent you.

Galpin Mazda in San Fernando. IIRC, only have to leave my car there for the day.
Whatever you do though, stay the hell away from the dealer ins Santa Clarita.

I really can't recall who I spoke with at clippinger, but I contacted the palm springs mazda and they said it might take up to 3 weeks to get the parts! Wtf! Is there anyway I can speed this up?

Thanks

I had my belts replaced last year at El Cajon Mazda. It took them 3 days to get my belts, and it took them 3 hours to install them. They did an awesome job. But Robert is right, it is now as of 2 years ago a lifetime replacement. I was told the same thing when i took mine to have them replaced. They told me that my recall was closed 6 years ago. I contacted the recall department at Mazda Corp in Irvine, and spoke with Maria, she contacted the service manager at El Cajon Mazda, and confirmed with them that they are in deed life time replacement. so i got mine done. You just have to push these dealers.
