max boost on stock engine?

max boost on stock engine?

i just want to know how much boost can a stock 13bt motor handle? and around how much horsepower it would get. thanks!

All things being stock ull hit fuel cut 1 psi higher then stock. With a fcd and the rest stock you could get 9 psi on a s5, 10 can be hit but its dangerously lean. Anything higher then stock with out the proper fueling is risking the engine.

research. caution boosting a unpinned s4's. rear irons are weak, ask me how i found out (look at my avitar thingy picture) lol!!

un pinned? explanation? do you mean boosting without a fcd?

i dont know if thats whats it technically called, but its a stud kit. This is the 1st one that came to mind, but theres several companies out there that sell em:

Machining of the irons and housing is required to to accept the larger diameter studs. I didn't go this route myself because it was outta my budget , but if i remember correctly an aftermarket flywheel is also typically required due to clearance issues.

I just read there description, and apparently u dont need to do any machining to use the studs to the link above. i wonder how much better, if at all, larger diameter stud kits are.
