Looking for Drift Team to join (SoCal)

Just in case you need to know. I have a 1990 FC GXL. I also have some buds that have s13s. They'd also like to get a team started.

I'm part of a drift crew called "Drift-Image" or D9 for short. PM Mild7 for membership information. He handles all the logistics and communicates with new applicants. List all of your mods and what you're looking to accomplish by joining our drift club. We meet once a week at an undisclosed location (Mild7 will let you know) somewhere near Torrance. You understand why we need to keep our whereabouts under wraps, right?
Also, we have many sponsors so if you're interested in hooking up your whip, start saving your money. Don't forget to PM Mild7.

Umm you should probably just go to a Drift Day or JustDrift event, save the innocent bystanders, and forget the whole crew thing...it reeks of rice.
I am sorry, I can't leave it that.........
Let me ask you, Once you "join" some Crew what then? You all get matching shirts that make the Bowling team "not" look retarded? Run around town chasing each other wearing bandanas over one eye and reaping havok on old ladies with walkers like the cheap asian films??
I mean.......is this some sort of racing?? Or is it a gay *** fad for posers to hasten the wrapping of the car around trees??
I don't get it.

Oh jesus, another drift hating thread. some people drift to make it look good, some people race in straight, which is pointless as well. it's all up to the person really, so i don't know why you guys hate it so much. If you can use drifting to get a better track time.....go for it.
ok, a crew to go to drift events... ok... a crew to street drift, not cool. it does get pretty pointless after awhile though. i guess you would team up to create an organization in which you would create a web site or somethin to get scouted for sponsorships to help you get closer to becoming pro, right? that makes a lil bit more sense, than initial d-ing it up and looking for other "crews" to drift against to see whos the ultimate street drifter dude! just my $.02
