the tuning session will probably have to be the weekend after sevenstock, it's a bit late to try and shoot for the week before and that will give me a little more time to be sure Nick's car is done right.

Shoot. I have a track day that weekend. And also my FD doesn't look like it will be done by nov 12. If it's in december it would work for me.

i try to setup sessions about every 3-4 months in the north cali area so it isn't a huge deal if it isn't ready in time.

i know like everyone else, something else is recommended, but i had an safc II on a talon i had and he tuned it and i ran 18-23psi on it and never had an issue.
when i first had him tune my rx7 way back when it had an safc II also, he tuned that also and it ran fine then i took it to a shop in sac to have it dyno tuned and they blew my motor cause they changed the tune that ben had put on it, they leaned it out saying ben had it too rich and then pop, guess ben didnt have it too rich huh?

SAFCs still work but there are other options that are getting there comparably in price like the megasquirt PnP units.

on a side note i think i'm about done road tuning cars. got a ticket today, 75 in a 50 on a deserted 20 mile stretch of road, no leniency.

Ahh ok. I ask because I happen to have one, and wasn't sure if I should just sell it or actually use it.

Sucks about the ticket

For smog legal purposes I wanna keep this car as easy as possible to bolt back to stock to pass smog. Plus, I'm not shooting for any more than 250whp to be honest. Plus I enjoyed docking with you the other night.
