My weekend Plan "A" fell through, so that proved to be a good Plan "B". Got all the parts I needed and even found a couple parts I've been wanting to replace for my wifes Jeep.
To give a bit more detail, it's a S4 GXL with ABS (I've not seen an S4 ABS complete in quite a long time) rare bird) and LSD. So anyone wanting an NA LSD, it's still there. Sidebar, it's actually Grey interior.
Tight schedule, so I didn't take time to find the 1st Gen.
This is correct....its much smaller than Pick a Part (The Octopus) but good cars most of the time and also only 2 bucks.
Went to Octopus again (Sun Valley) and NOTHING. Seems to me that the value of our cars should increase slowly from here on hahaha

83s are kinda hard to tell without taking it apart. Mazda used the left over smal axles from 81-82 on the early-83 and then big axles after. In fact, cousiins 83, bought new summer 83: had large axles

Don't know if this REPU is still at the yard, but here's some info on it posted a couple of days ago.

Rust Free 74 Cab & parts at SoCal Pick a Part
I looked at a 74 REPU at the Pick A Part in Stanton CA, off Katella and Beach Blvd.
The Cab is virtually rust free - floors and rockers near perfect and someone already knocked off the sound deadening.
Tailgate is a single rib and usable- has a few dings.
Front fenders might be salvagable but they have pretty good size dents, but no rust.
Has an ugly cap on the bed. Bed is in pretty good shape as well rust wise but some dents.
Has the rear diff, 4sp transmission, driveshaft. No engine in it so easy removeal. Front suspension is intact.
Interior is pretty much wasted, inner door handles and window cranks are about it. Gauge cluster is there.
Early truck #463 built 1/74.
Get the parts before this thing is crushed. Looked at it today.

1 black fc in pick your part in wilmington, complete i took the t2 seats thats all, its a s4 with 5lug , the engine had a fire problem by the looks of it gray interior the dash in really clean
Nothing at the Aadlen Bros on Telfair. A light blue s4 and black s5 auto at the pick-a-part on pendleton. both looked pretty messy but like most stuff was there, nothing i was looking for. i need a convertible hood cheap!
1 s4 black fc @ peck road and live oak, red interior with t2 seats, engine complete w/ rad, bumpers, ftp lights everything complete except rear bumber is crush any one seen a fb? need some the windows assembly
Forgot to mention there was an FB at Aadlen bros on tuxford and telfair. light blue. interior was not too great but you can get the windows though.
