How about a report from the San Gabriel Valley, The OC, and/or Inland Empire..............

Let me try and prime this pump.

As of today, there is nothing at the Pomona U-Pic-U-Save off Mission, nor at the Ontario Pic a Parts off Milliken or Pyrite.

Come on now, schools out so I know some of you have found time to roam some yards. Lets hear where there are or aren't any RX7 sightings. Hell, if your not wanting to broadcast, PM me any 2nd Gen sightings. Gas is expensive these days, so any assistance that allows for less driving is a good thing.

When i get a job and can afford gas I will try to go to the junkyards in the valley on a much more regular basis. I'll try to go to pick-a-part in el monte this week.

^ There we go. Knowing where there aren't any RX7's is almost as valuable as where there are. Narrows down the field for the hunt.

Sidebar, one thing I liked about Dallas is the Pic a Parts car inventory could be dialed up on the internet. Wish they did that here. http://www.picknpull.com/check_inven...7&Distance=100

^Is that a place where you pay $2 and pull your own parts? By the name, sounds like a conventional wrecking yard.

Wish I was closer - I'd like to pull the sheetmetal dash support frame out of it, if it hasn't been cut for a DIN stereo.

I remember when there were early rx's there all the time, I even seen a red original R100 in the early 90s, I pulled off the drivers side window to sell it for a small profit. Boy was I dumb as a youngster

Tuxford/Telfair area in Sun Valley, several yards there... used to find SA stuff there all the time when I lived over that way.

s4 front control arms (replaceable ball joint design) are gone from Newark, but the spindles and ball joints are still available.
There are two driver side and one passenger side s5 control arms (non-replaceable ball joints) available. The remaining ball joints on the two s5 verts look pretty ancient, and one has a torn rubber boot.
