Iphone Help.
Hey So the other day i dropped my Iphone and the glass broke, not the LCD. Yeah i know. So befor I get flamed for having one. Anyone on these forums work at an Apple store? If so anyway you can get me a deal. I have heard of them replacing the glass for free the first time. But after that you gotta pay. So i went down to my local Apple Store and they want 199 bucks to replace a piece of glass. I spent 150 for the phone...wtf. I know they have a special suction cup tool they use to be able to replace it in like 10 min. I really dont see where they get off charging almost 200 bucks. Apple is a rip. Probably wont ever buy another apple product. Unless its the Snow leapard OS and thats to install it on a 300dollar netbook.
Anyways back to the subject. If no one can help me out. Im not paying 200 for a 10 dollar piece of glass and 15 min of labor. I'll end up changing it myself. **** APPLE. Now I know why im a windows fanboy.

If you buy an iphone... Buy a case, seriously its a pretty expensive phone... What i suggest you is if you dont have a two year contract, re-do your contract and get the normal 8gb 3g for 100$.

3g. I wanted an actual sleeve. I have a hard plastic case on it now. and it obviously doesn't take care of the Screen.
something like this. With a pocket for credit cards, and what not.
