hahah . well i went home and slept.. Auto stores open at 8am. a friend called and convinced me "dude just go" and its after 9am. I limp on the freeway.. snap goes my 1 alt belt *they where mismatched*.. i get to the auto store, buy what i think would work.. nope too small.. and they didnt have any other solutions, walked accross the block to kragens.. got 2 belts.. put em on.. Drove home... it was about 12ish by then.. My power steering belt decides to join the party lol.. *it got messed up from teh alt belts hitting it*. Figured id check out some other issues with the car *hesitation when cornering*.. and replaced the fuel pump sock as well..

So out of this, i replaced all belts and fuel pump sock.. but now shes one happy FC lol tho she didnt get to meet any friends today hahah
I really wanted to show up early so i can park inside and show off too.. wasnt really thrilled with the idea of coming late and parking outside.

Travis what up...

Man that sucks to hear...my belts were hella squeaky too whenever I took off. Wacky's brother in law Richie actually hooked me up with a new Alternator belt at the event ....that was love right there.

hey guys, need some advice here on my 88 rx7. my altenator belt went out last night, snapped in half from being cracked and dry. no mess, no problem.
so i buy a new one and get started on removing the other belts to get the altenator belt replaced. its seems like i would need to remove the actual pulley because i can't fit the new belt through or between the two front pulleys. they are too close together! any suggestions? do i remove the fan shroud, the fan and pulley? 1/4 of an inch more space and it would slide right through. HELP

The perils of "search" when you don't check the dates on the results, heh.
