I'm sorry, it's absolutely stupid to do this on the street, especially when there are traffic in the opposite direction...

 

Its a local canyon, I was doing alrite then at top of 3rd gear 80ish on a turn I hit a small bump or rock causing me to airborn, I full locked right and it kept going straight and went down a cliff. I closed my eyes, and said "Oh ****".The cliff was like 15ft steep??!! Open my eyes ended up on another small side road. My car was unharmed, we were unharmed. Just amazed we pulled that off without a scratch. The cars alignment is fine, the wheels have dirt in it um thats about it. we cheated death bittchhessssss LMAO. yeah Im going to take abreak from canyons for awhile. Road conditions are unpredictable.

 

Its not a street, its a canyon mtn road. LMAO.

 

Once again it must be said, keep this off the street.

What if this had happened the day you were racing that EVO with your girlfriend and when you hit the lower road you had crushed a motorcyclist?

Yes, many of us cruise the canyons. We just don't chant rx7 club while doing it. LOL Glad you're OK and learned a good lesson while not getting hurt or hurting others. More importantly the second.

You're def not alone, I hit the Malibu canyons almost every weekend.

I did have one horribly close call where I lost control under hard braking and started sliding/spinning... Thank God the road curved back the way I was sliding, it was easily 200ft straight down the other side of the road, no guardrail. I hit the side of the mountain to the left of the road rather than dropping off it to the right. It wasn't until a couple hours later at home that I realized how crazy close that was. Admittedly, it took me a few months to get back on the horse (i.e. bomb down the canyons).

 

Compared to the Matrix, yes, yes indeed.
